Ongoing and completed projects at the Sámi Education Institute.

The Sámi Education Institute participates in and leads numerous projects and research initiatives at the local, national, and international levels with universities around the world, particularly those serving indigenous peoples and Arctic related issues. Some of the projects have included: Sámi language revitalization and advanced pedagogical methods, reindeer husbandry, Sámi livelihoods, nature, virtual and distance education platforms, Sámi music and media production and education, value-added products of the reindeer industry including skillful mater level Sámi handicraft design and fabrication. and reindeer and fish processing/packaging/marketing/sales.
